Time of Year: Summer

The Vibe: Regal, Romantic & Dreamy

The Team: Videographer: Forever Curious | Planner By Chenai | Florist Larry Walshe | Catering The Food Show | Photographer Rebecca Searle | Venue Hampton Court Palace

THE VISION:

Johannah & Morgan dreamt of a film that could balance both the drama of their venue and the real authentic moments of their wedding day. They wanted to fuse together emotional moments from their ceremony and speeches, with the grandeur of the King’s Hall where they set their mesmerising evening reception. They also invited us to capture their Chinese Tea Ceremony at the groom’s family home, and to create a film that they could show family overseas who couldn’t come to their wedding.

THE FEATURE FILM:

Their feature film begins at the Groom’s childhood home. The Chinese Ceremony begins with ‘Door Games’ that the groom must complete in order to see his bride! A day full of fun, laughter and family connection. The film then turns more emotional and romantic, as the Wedding day begins. A highlight for us was their speeches, which had the guests (and us) laughing and crying.

THE TRAILER:

We threw everything we had at their Trailer. A big, booming soundtrack, symmetrical dramatic cinematography, with a colourful yet subtle colour palette that drew upon both the dramatic and authentic moments of their day.
